Who we are

The Chamber is a non-profit organisation and can support its members from opportunity assessments up to preparing and assisting in business visits. To this end, we offer information on trade and legislation and entertain contacts with Belgian and Peruvian companies, with Peruvian trade and maintain entry points to the Peruvian government. We are also connected with our Belgian, Flemish , Walloon and Brussels representations locally.

Our services

Volunteer-based, the Chamber offers analyses, information, contacts, lobbying services and gives support to its members searching to export to Peru or to the Pacific coast.

Our activities

The Belgo-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce participated with an important delegation in the Belgian Trade Mission to Peru in October 2014, which was successfully led by HRH Princess Astrid. This was the event which marked the actual start of the Chamber. In April 2015, the Chamber held its official launch reception. We were pleased to count on a high number of participants, from different sectors and from specialized SMEs up to the most known Belgian companies, as well as institutional and diplomatic guests of honour. The European Commission’s Deputy Head of Unit – Latin America, Directorate-General for Trade gave a practical overview of the Treaty between the EU and Colombia and Peru. Also in 2015, as a result of our organisational development, the Chamber was accredited by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belgium as associate member. Our first major event in 2016 is the “Latin America: Trade and Investment Day” on February 23rd, 2016 in Wijnegem, Antwerp (more information can be found on our website.

Our services

  • Macroeconomic information and forecast on Chile and neighbour economies
  • Specific analysis and tailor-made services to firms, from legal support to networking lobbying and cultural aspects
  • Support to export promotion in cooperation with existing programmes and instruments at the Belgian level (FIT, AWEX, Brussels Export) as well as at EU level (European Commission mainly but also Eurochambers, Business Europe, European Investment Bank, European Parliament, Court of Justice, and European partners)

Who we are

The Chamber helps Belgian and Luxembourg companies to succeed in doing business in Chile, as well as Chilean firms in Belgium and Luxembourg, by offering specific activities, information and contacts through its 60-year-old network in Chile.  The Chamber tries to define and match strategic alliances between Belgian and Chilean (or Pacific coast) firms, as well as universities and researchers. This activity mainly focuses on innovation and creation of synergies between economies.

Our activities

  • Between 10 to 15 annual networking events from working-lunch with special invitees to commercial missions or fairs in Chile, as well as international seminars, conferences on financial and fiscal topic
  • Corporate hospitality events
  • Participation in activities of our partners Chambers in Luxembourg (Luxembourg-Chilean Chamber) and in Santiago (Chilean-Belgian Chamber)
  • Close cooperation with the other bilateral Chambers between Belgium and Latin American countries, especially on the Pacific coast (Colombia and Peru)

Who we are

EURACEN wants to strengthen the ties between Europe and Central America, facilitating access to this area, providing useful contacts in loco, supporting new projects and organising B2B meetings to create and foster new commercial and economic cooperation.
Member companies belong to different business sectors such as transport, agro-food, energy, industries, dredging, services including financial, for both public and private sector.
The Embassies of Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, are EURACEN active members and some also co-founders.

Since its foundation in 1945, the long-term mission of the Chamber of Commerce Canada-Belgium-Luxembourg remains the promotion and development of economic relations amongst the three countries covered and the development of a professional network of various economic operators active on the Canadian, Belgian, Luxembourg and also international markets.The Chamber is a non-profit organisation.
