Is your business ready for Brexit?
The United Kingdom is scheduled to leave the European Union on 31 October 2019. If the United Kingdom leaves the EU without a withdrawal agreement, which would establish a transitional period, it will be treated as a non-EU country for customs purposes from the date of its entry into force and customs formalities will have to be completed for each commercial transaction.
It is essential that EU companies are prepared for this. And to do so, many questions remain to be answered:
- Does your company already have an EORI number?
- Are you familiar with customs processes and documents?
- Are you already thinking about licenses that can simplify the process?
